Who is CTHRMA? The Central Texas Human Resources Management Association (CTHRMA) is a not for profit association of human resource professionals in the Central Texas area representing local businesses, government entities, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations. Chartered in 1976, the CTHRMA Chapter is excited to be celebrating its 32nd anniversary. CTHRMA is a highly recognized chapter in Texas and has been awarded Superior Merit Awards for the past several years, which demonstrates our commitment to advancing the HR profession. CTHRMA is the premier organization of professionals dedicated to advancing the value of Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development for the purpose of improving individual knowledge and expertise, organizational performance, and community development. Who Belongs to CTHRMA? CTHRMA members include all levels of HR professionals, as well as local business owners, consultants, and those interested in the HR field. Many members are decision makers for a variety of businesses, including small and large companies, as well as public and private employers. Over 22% of our members are certified as Senior Professionals in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professionals in Human Resources (PHR). CTHRMA not only offers educational programs to our members, but makes them available to all area employers through the Chamber of Commerce, as well as advertising to other HR professionals throughout the State of Texas.
